Shipping & Delivery
This page explains how Bee Kind Reimagined prepares and sends website orders, including dispatch times, delivery charges, tracking and what happens if an order is delayed or cannot be delivered.
Because many of our products are handmade, hand-finished or made in small quantities, preparation times can vary depending on the type of item ordered. Any product-specific information shown on the product page will form part of the delivery information for that order.
Where we deliver
Bee Kind Reimagined currently delivers website orders to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
We do not currently offer international delivery. This allows us to keep our delivery arrangements clear and manageable and to ensure that the products we sell are supplied in accordance with the requirements that apply to our business and the markets we serve.
We may review the areas we deliver to in future, but international delivery should not be assumed unless it is specifically offered on the website.
Customers may also be able to arrange:
-
collection from us in Wallasey by prior agreement;
-
collection from a festival, fair, convention or other event that Bee Kind Reimagined is attending; or
-
local delivery within the Wirral Peninsula by prior arrangement.
Collection from our business address is by arrangement only. Bee Kind Reimagined does not operate as a walk-in retail shop.
For event collection or local delivery, please contact us before ordering where possible so that the arrangements, timing and any applicable charge can be agreed.
Delivery charges
We deliver within the UK using tracked Royal Mail services. Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For ordinary items, the free option is Royal Mail Tracked 48. Tracked 24 and Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm are available as paid upgrades. Below £30, the displayed charge applies to the tracked service you choose.
Products priced at £75 or more, including exactly £75, are sent by Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm at our expense. This also applies in mixed orders. The free checkout option for a mixed order may be labelled Tracked 48; we will send the premium item by Special Delivery and may send other items separately. Special Delivery’s next-working-day guarantee begins after Royal Mail accepts the parcel before its local cut-off, subject to destination exceptions. Our preparation time is separate.
Dispatch and processing times
Products shown as Available Now are normally ready for dispatch.
For orders placed and paid for before 2pm Monday to Friday, we will usually aim to dispatch ready-made items on the same working day.
Orders placed after 2pm, at weekends or on public holidays will normally be prepared for dispatch on the next available working day.
Same-day dispatch is a target rather than a guarantee. Occasionally, circumstances such as unusually high order volumes, events, illness, severe weather or other matters outside our reasonable control may mean that dispatch takes longer.
If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you where appropriate.
Made-to-order, personalised and bespoke items
Made-to-order, personalised and bespoke products can require additional design, preparation and production time.
Because these products vary considerably, we do not apply one standard dispatch time to every bespoke order.
Before or during the ordering process, we will discuss the expected timescale with you where appropriate. This may depend on factors including:
-
the type and complexity of the product;
-
design or artwork preparation;
-
materials or components required;
-
whether a proof or design needs your approval;
-
laser-cutting, engraving, 3D-printing, sewing, painting or finishing time;
-
current workshop workload; and
-
any agreed deadline or event date.
Where we agree a particular production or dispatch timeframe with you, that agreed timeframe will apply to the order.
If something occurs that is likely to cause a significant change to an agreed timescale, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Estimated delivery times
Dispatch time and delivery time are different.
Dispatch time is the time needed for us to prepare and hand your order to the delivery provider.
Delivery time is the period after dispatch during which the delivery provider transports the parcel to you.
Where we use Royal Mail Tracked 48, the service is intended as a tracked delivery service rather than a guaranteed delivery-date service. Any delivery estimate shown by us or by the delivery provider should therefore be treated as an estimate unless a particular guaranteed service has been expressly agreed.
Tracking updates may provide a more current indication of progress once the parcel is in the delivery network.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, UK consumer law generally requires goods bought online to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being entered into.
For made-to-order or bespoke products, a longer production or delivery period may be agreed with you as part of the order.
How we send orders
Our usual tracked delivery service is Royal Mail Tracked 48.
We may use another appropriate Royal Mail service or another suitable delivery provider where this is appropriate for the size, weight, value or nature of the order.
Where the website offers a choice of delivery services, the available options and any difference in price will be shown before you complete the purchase.
We take reasonable care when packing products for delivery and choose packaging appropriate to the item being sent. Because our range includes products made from different materials and using different techniques, packaging may vary between orders.
Once an order has been dispatched, we will provide delivery or tracking information where this is available for the service used.
Tracking
Where a tracked delivery service is used, we will normally provide tracking information once the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information may include:
-
a tracking or reference number;
-
confirmation that the parcel has been accepted by the delivery provider;
-
progress through the delivery network; and
-
delivery or attempted-delivery information where available.
Tracking information is supplied by the delivery provider and may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or temporarily inaccurate.
If tracking appears not to have updated for an unusual length of time, please contact us and we can investigate where appropriate.
A tracking update does not override your statutory consumer rights.
Orders containing more than one item
Where an order contains several products, we will normally aim to send them together where this is practical and appropriate.
Sometimes products may need to be dispatched separately. This may happen because:
-
items require different preparation or production times;
-
products need different types of protective packaging;
-
part of an order is made to order or personalised;
-
the size or weight of the combined order makes separate parcels more appropriate; or
-
another practical reason makes separate dispatch safer or more efficient.
If we decide to split an order into more than one parcel, we will not normally charge you additional delivery costs simply because we have chosen to send the order separately.
Where separate tracking details are available, we will provide them as appropriate.
Delivery delays
Delivery dates and times provided by us or a delivery provider are normally estimates unless a guaranteed delivery service or specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
Occasional delays can occur after dispatch because of circumstances such as:
-
disruption within the postal or courier network;
-
severe weather;
-
public holidays;
-
industrial action;
-
unusually high seasonal volumes;
-
access problems at the delivery address; or
-
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If an order is significantly delayed, please contact us so that we can check the available tracking information and, where appropriate, raise an enquiry with the delivery provider.
Where a particular delivery date is essential, please contact us before ordering so that we can confirm whether we can reasonably meet it.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where goods are not delivered within an agreed or legally required timeframe.
Delivery addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing your order.
Please check the delivery details carefully before completing your purchase.
If you realise that an address is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will normally be able to correct the address.
Once a parcel has been dispatched, we may not be able to change or redirect it.
Where an order is returned to us because the address supplied was incomplete or incorrect, we will contact you to discuss the available options. A reasonable additional delivery charge may apply if you ask us to send the parcel again.
Where an address problem resulted from an error by Bee Kind Reimagined, we will put this right without charging you additional delivery costs.
Lost, missing or damaged orders
If your order appears to be lost, has not arrived within a reasonable period, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
For a missing parcel, we may:
-
check the available tracking information;
-
ask the delivery provider for further information;
-
open a missing-item or loss investigation where appropriate; and
-
keep you informed of the outcome where reasonably possible.
For damaged goods, photographs of the product and packaging can be very helpful when we investigate the problem or make a claim against the delivery provider. We may therefore ask you to provide photographs where reasonably possible.
Providing photographs does not remove or replace your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement or refund.
Please retain damaged packaging until we have advised whether it is needed for a delivery-provider investigation.
Orders returned to us
A parcel may occasionally be returned to Bee Kind Reimagined because, for example:
-
delivery was attempted but the parcel was not collected;
-
the delivery address was incomplete or incorrect;
-
the recipient could not be located at the address;
-
the parcel was refused; or
-
the delivery provider was otherwise unable to complete delivery.
If an order is returned to us, we will contact you where reasonably possible to discuss what should happen next.
Where the return occurred because of an incorrect address supplied by the customer, failure to collect the parcel, or another circumstance outside our control, we may ask you to pay a reasonable additional delivery charge before the parcel is sent again.
Where the problem was caused by Bee Kind Reimagined or the delivery arrangements for which we are responsible, we will not charge you again to correct the problem.
If you do not want the parcel sent again, any refund or cancellation will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy, our Terms & Conditions and your statutory rights.
Personalised or genuinely bespoke items may have different cancellation rights from standard products, as explained in our Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.
