Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Bee Kind Reimagined website or purchase products from us. They explain how orders are placed and accepted, how we provide our products, and the rights and responsibilities that apply to both you and us.

Please read these terms before placing an order. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Who we are

Bee Kind Reimagined is a trading name operated by Shaun Hillier and Madeleine Bell as a UK business partnership.

Our business address is 17 Caithness Drive, Wallasey, CH45 7PN, UK.

We design, make and sell handmade and small-batch products including laser-made items, 3D-printed creations, fabric products and other handmade gifts and decorative pieces. We also offer bespoke and personalised work where this is stated on the relevant product or service page.

You can contact us using the details provided on our Contact & Enquiries page.

About these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Bee Kind Reimagined website and to your use of the website where relevant.

By placing an order with us, you are asking to purchase the products shown in your order subject to these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. We may also provide additional information on individual product pages, our Shipping & Delivery page and our Returns & Refunds page. Where information relates specifically to a particular product or order, that information forms part of the terms applying to that purchase.

Where we offer a loyalty programme, the following Bee Kind Rewards terms apply.

Bee Kind Rewards is free to join and is available to registered site members. Points are linked to the member account that earned them, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and have no cash value.

Members currently earn 20 Bee Points for creating a member account; 1 Bee Point for every £1 of an eligible paid online order subtotal, including any applicable tax but excluding delivery charges; and 10 Bee Points for opening each linked Facebook or Instagram profile from the Loyalty page. The social action records the profile visit and does not verify that the member follows the account. Purchase points are rounded down to the nearest whole point.

Purchase points are awarded only after an order has been paid. If an order is cancelled, refunded or charged back, we may correct or remove points earned from that order. Wix does not currently reverse these points automatically, so an adjustment may be made manually. This does not affect the customer’s refund or statutory rights.

The current reward is £5 off an eligible online order over £30 in exchange for 100 Bee Points. The reward applies to eligible products rather than delivery charges and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any conditions shown at checkout or when the reward is claimed also apply.

Bee Points do not currently expire. If we introduce an expiry period in future, we will give reasonable notice and explain how it affects existing points.

We may correct points added in error and may restrict participation where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised account activity. We will act reasonably and this will not affect rights relating to genuine orders.

We may change, pause or withdraw the programme for operational, legal or platform-related reasons. Where a change materially affects existing members, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and handle accrued points and claimed rewards fairly.

Personal information used to operate Bee Kind Rewards is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy. Questions about points or rewards can be sent through our Contact & Enquiries page.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you have under UK consumer law.

Our products and handmade variations

Many Bee Kind Reimagined products are handmade, hand-finished or produced in small batches. This means that minor variations may occur between individual items.

Depending on the product, natural or handmade variations may include differences in:

  • wood grain, colour or natural markings;

  • fabric pattern placement;

  • paintwork or hand-applied finishes;

  • engraving appearance;

  • 3D-print layer patterns or small surface characteristics;

  • positioning of decorative details; and

  • other small characteristics arising from handmade production.

These variations are part of the nature of handmade and small-batch products and do not normally mean that an item is faulty.

We aim to describe and photograph our products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, colours may also appear slightly different depending on your device, screen settings and lighting conditions.

Product information and availability

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and other information shown on the website are accurate and up to date.

Measurements may be approximate where appropriate, particularly for handmade items.

Products shown as available are subject to stock availability. Some items are individual pieces or are made in very limited quantities and may therefore become unavailable without notice.

Because Bee Kind Reimagined also sells at face-to-face events such as festivals, fairs and conventions, an item shown as available on the website may occasionally be sold in person before the website has been updated. Where this happens, we will do our best to remove the item from the Available Now section as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we may move a sold item to another relevant part of the website, such as Past Creations or Bespoke Creations, so that customers can still see examples of our previous work and enquire about having a similar item made. Because many of our products are handmade, hand-finished or made from limited materials, any similar replacement may not be identical to the original.

Where a product is made to order, personalised or produced following a customer enquiry, the expected production time and any relevant requirements will be explained before or during the ordering process.

If we discover after you place an order that an item is unavailable, including because it has already been sold at a face-to-face event, or that there is a significant error in the product information, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the available options. Where we cannot supply the product, any payment already made for that product will be refunded.

Prices and payment

All prices displayed on the Bee Kind Reimagined website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless clearly stated otherwise.

The price payable for a product will normally be the price shown when you place your order, together with any delivery charges or other charges clearly shown before you confirm the purchase.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are displayed correctly. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order. We will not be required to supply a product at an obviously incorrect price where the error should reasonably have been apparent.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods made available through the website at checkout.

Payments may be processed by Wix or by payment providers connected to our Wix website. Bee Kind Reimagined does not normally receive or store your full payment-card details.

Placing an order

When you place an order through the Bee Kind Reimagined website, you are making an offer to purchase the products shown in your order.

Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and the total price payable.

Please check the information carefully before confirming your order. If you notice an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

Submitting an order and receiving an automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted the order. Acceptance takes place as explained below.

When a contract is formed

A contract between you and Bee Kind Reimagined is formed when we accept your order.

For standard products purchased through the website, this will normally happen when we send confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched.

For bespoke, personalised or made-to-order products arranged following an enquiry, we will make clear when your order has been accepted, including the agreed product details, price and any relevant production or delivery arrangements.

We may decline or cancel an order before acceptance where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or product-information error, we cannot fulfil the order as requested, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

If we cannot accept an order for which payment has already been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

Personalised and bespoke products

Some Bee Kind Reimagined products may be made or adapted specifically for an individual customer.

Before accepting a bespoke or personalised order, we will aim to agree the important details with you, which may include the design, wording, dimensions, materials, colours, price, production time and delivery arrangements.

You are responsible for checking any names, dates, wording, spellings, measurements or other personalised information that you provide to us. Where we provide a proof or design for approval, please check it carefully before confirming that production can begin.

Products made to your specification or clearly personalised may not carry the usual statutory right to cancel simply because you change your mind. We will make this clear where it applies.

This does not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, not as described or does not otherwise comply with your statutory rights.

Because many of our products are handmade or hand-finished, a newly made item inspired by one of our Past Creations or other previous pieces may not be an exact copy. We will explain any significant differences that are known before accepting the order.

Delivery

We will provide information about available delivery methods, charges and estimated times before you complete an online purchase where applicable.

Further information about how we dispatch orders, delivery services, estimated times and any geographical restrictions is provided on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Unless a different delivery time has been agreed with you, goods purchased online will normally be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Delivery dates and estimates may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you where appropriate and explain the available options.

Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is complete and accurate.

Cancelling an order

For most goods purchased online, consumers have a legal right to change their mind and cancel the contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, without having to give a reason.

To cancel, you must clearly tell us that you wish to do so. You can contact us using the details provided on our Contact & Enquiries page. You do not have to use a particular form as long as your decision to cancel is clear.

Different rules may apply to certain products. In particular, goods made to your specification or clearly personalised may be excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right.

Where the statutory right to cancel applies, further information about returning the goods, return costs and refunds will be provided on our Returns & Refunds page.

Cancelling because you have changed your mind is separate from your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of consumer law.

Returns and refunds

Where you have a legal right to cancel an online purchase, you will normally have 14 days from receiving the goods to tell us that you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning them where we have informed you of this in advance.

Returned goods should be handled only to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect them, similar to how you might examine an item in a shop. If goods have been used, damaged or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary, we may be entitled to reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value where the law permits.

Where a refund is due following cancellation, we will refund the appropriate amount in accordance with applicable consumer law, normally using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

Where you paid for standard delivery, the amount refundable following a valid cancellation will include the standard outbound delivery charge where required by law. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced or premium delivery option may not be refundable beyond the cost of our standard delivery service.

Further practical information about how to return an item will be provided on our Returns & Refunds page.

Faulty or incorrectly described products

We want the products you receive to match what you ordered and to meet the standards required by UK consumer law.

If a product is faulty, damaged when supplied, not as described, not fit for its intended purpose or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may include a refund, repair or replacement. Your rights will depend on factors such as when the problem is reported and the nature of the fault.

The handmade or small-batch nature of our products does not remove your statutory rights. Minor natural or handmade variations described elsewhere in these terms are different from genuine faults or significant differences from the product description.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your responsibilities

When using the Bee Kind Reimagined website or placing an order with us, you are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information;

  • checking personalised wording, names, dates, measurements or other information you supply to us;

  • reviewing any proof or design we ask you to approve before production begins;

  • using products appropriately and in accordance with any instructions, safety information or intended-use guidance supplied with them;

  • ensuring that any product you ask us to personalise or reproduce does not knowingly infringe another person's intellectual-property or other legal rights; and

  • contacting us promptly if you become aware of an error or problem relating to your order.

You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, submit fraudulent information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

If you create a member account, you are responsible for providing accurate information and for taking reasonable steps to keep access to your account secure. Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed or used without your permission.

You must not use a member account fraudulently, unlawfully or in a way that interferes with the website or the rights of other users. We may restrict or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse, security concerns or unlawful activity. This does not affect any rights you have relating to orders already placed or your statutory consumer rights.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms & Conditions or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to the limitations permitted by law.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.

Bee Kind Reimagined supplies products primarily for personal and domestic use unless we expressly agree otherwise. Where you purchase products for business or commercial purposes, different legal considerations may apply.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under consumer-protection law.

Website use and intellectual property

The Bee Kind Reimagined website contains material that may be protected by copyright, design rights, trade marks or other intellectual-property rights. This may include original text, photographs, graphics, branding, product designs, artwork and other content.

Where Bee Kind Reimagined owns the relevant rights, those rights remain with us unless we expressly agree otherwise. Copyright and other intellectual-property rights can arise automatically in original creative work, while some other rights may require registration.

Some content, materials, designs or other elements used on the website or in our products may be used under licence, with permission, or may belong to third parties. Any third-party rights remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view and use the website for ordinary personal shopping and browsing purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected website content without appropriate permission or another lawful basis.

Nothing on the website grants you ownership of any intellectual-property rights merely because you have purchased a physical product containing or incorporating protected material. UK guidance makes clear that buying a physical item does not automatically transfer the copyright in the underlying creative work.

If you believe material on the website infringes intellectual-property rights belonging to you, please contact us with sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to third parties, including payment providers, delivery services, social-media platforms or other external resources.

We provide external links where we believe they may be useful or necessary, but we do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

A link from our website does not necessarily mean that Bee Kind Reimagined endorses or is affiliated with the third party concerned.

When you leave our website, any information you provide to another organisation will be handled according to that organisation’s own terms and privacy practices. You should review those where appropriate.

We will take reasonable care not to knowingly link to unlawful or infringing material and may remove or update external links if we become aware of a problem.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our products, website, business practices, legal requirements or the services we use.

The terms applying to an order will normally be those in force when the contract for that order was formed. We will not normally change the terms of an existing contract retrospectively unless this is required by law or we agree the change with you.

The latest version of these Terms & Conditions will be published on this website together with the date on which they were last updated.

Where a change is significant and reasonably affects existing customers, we will take appropriate steps to bring it to their attention where necessary.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and contracts between you and Bee Kind Reimagined are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, this does not affect any mandatory legal rights or protections that apply to you because of where you live.

If you live in England or Wales, legal proceedings relating to these terms or a purchase may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict any right that a consumer has to bring or defend proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

How to contact us

If you have a question about these Terms & Conditions, an order, a product or your rights as a customer, please contact Bee Kind Reimagined using the details provided on our Contact & Enquiries page.
